| Chili peppers are an essential ingredient in Malaysian and many other Asian cuisines. What would curry be without Chili peppers? Would the myriads of different types of sambals exist without chili? Silly questions to be pondering until you realize that Chili peppers did not arrive in Asia until sometime after the 16th century. |
